The treadmill exercises all the muscles of the legs, unlike simple walking or running in the water, where only the anterior muscle groups are trained.
Absolutely easy to use, the water treadmill is controlled and adjusted by the athlete. The level of difficulty can be adjusted by the speed of movement of the athlete, based on his personal level of fitness. The athlete can on the treadmill:
- To walk sooner or later.
- To run in a straight line or by choosing one of the 4 uphill angles.
- To perform the exercise “Cross country”.
- To use it as a multi-machine for strengthening exercises.
Increasing the speed of movement increases at the same time the difficulty and the training load. The athlete walking, running, or cross country on the treadmill, exercises the abs and all the muscle groups of the legs:
- Quadriceps
- Glute
- Posterior femurs
- Advocates
- Gastrocnemius
- Tibia
- Anterior tibia
- ABS
The treadmill exercises all the muscles of the legs as opposed to simply walking or running in the water, where only the anterior muscle groups are trained. This is because when the athlete steps on the bottom of the pool, the surface is stable, while in the treadmill the resistance increases, sliding on the rolling surface. The water treadmill is the ideal way to exercise. Exercises very effectively, without any strain on the body and joints.
